no sea trade even with ports
I'm playing the irish celts. It took me a while to save enough money to build a couple of ports (that's not how they are called) and I still don't get any sea trade income from those region, even if the building description states +1 sea trade route. I have trade rights with a couple other factions. Am I doing anything wrong?
Otherwise congratulations and thanks for the well done work. Impressive and fun to play

Re: no sea trade even with ports
Trade routes do not function from a very few ports in the game (mainly in Ireland and Norway).
Do not worry. These are known and you will gain trade boosts for building them - so they are not useless

Re: no sea trade even with ports
Maybe the other factions across the sea have all their available trade routes occupied with other lines, and they can't support any more. Also, there are a couple of ports that will never get any trade routes because of distance to other ports of regions they don't share a land-border with; those ports get a trade bonus to compensate for that. All other ports, do work and do get their trade lines as they are supposed to, we have tested them thoroughly.
EDIT: Meh, that MoN guy replied before me again. Pft.

Hehe.
Yes, I can attest all ports are tested. Capturing an entire region and building up all ports to full level with trade agreements all round is no small task per faction...
