How does one actually add reskinned units to the game? I downloaded the UP line infantry and just added all 3 files:

Thumbs.db
Unitedp_linemen_textures_patch.pack
unitedprovinces.jpg

to the Data folder, but they don't show up in my campaign ( I had an already started campaign with the Dutch before I installed the reskinned units, might that be the problem?)

@ Hieronymus The skins didn't show up for me on some factions until I worked out how to use Lt Chamber's mod manager which you can find in another thread .

Seeing as this is stickied now, can someone please edit the OP so that only released units are actually in the released unit section. The Swedish and Austrian units are claimed the be released when they actually aren't which is kind of annoying

'euro_grenadiers_sweden_diffuse.dds' is a texture file. U can't just place it somewhere it needs to be in a patch/mod along with it's gloss file I believe.

Unless u replace the texture inside game (but I wouldn't do that)

Hi Guys - I use TROM so is there any way of ascertaining which of these retextures are simple Mod packs as apposed to patches? I can't use anything that changes stats. I'd just need re-textures only. Thanks! K
