    Use Mod Manager it is the way forward!! here is working units for all! (Mod Manager only!!)

    Why not use some more of the skins already implemented.

    Unfortunately I'm too stupid to do it myself but I think one of our mod heros can figure out what I'm brabblin about =)

    Unit's such as the East Indian Trading Company Line Infantry present other Skins than the usual Line Infantry and the Grenadiers (In case of the British) I guess. Combined with the Late 18th Century High Hats (Example would be the Nazim-i-cedit Infantry or Maybe Grenadier Hats) and Coldstream Guard style Legs or even normal pants they'll make a Great Regiment. I'm sure they'll fit some Historical description But surely they would look awesome. The crossed belts on their chests look as awesome as the Grenadiers but much more subtle and the surcoat itself present great style while High Hats are also clearly the most stylish ingame. I'm tired of the Triangle fashion

    I think the Unit would represent the British Infantry at the end of the 18th century / early 19th. Sometimes we have to sacrifice some accuracy, the modding community might love it.

    Any modder interested I feel some great Ideas in the air, anybody like to go into deatails with me just pm

    Most skinners here are currently trying to get accurate uniform of units between 17th - 18th century period. I believe there will be 18th/19th century skin, but I think modders would like to keep them integrated in their own mod (like American civil war for example).

    My thread originally meant only for collecting unit retexture works that spread across the forum and put them in one place so people will able locate them easily. Not for listing finished mods (except if it purely retexture pack or contain most of their work of existing unit retexture).

    Here are allternative German Hussars for Austria.

    How to activate:

    In your mod.pack. Go to db/unit_to_groupings_millitary_permissions_tables/unit_to_groupings_millitary_permissions

    Add new row and add euro hussars austria_group

    Now Austria have the standard hussars too.

    I'm afraid you have to clarify the editing procedure a bit more to me. First the two files in the extracted "dt.hussars" folder are to be copied over to ETW's data folder, right? But I have no other file there called "mod.pack", and if you refer to your earlier "mod austrian_horsearty_textures.pack" file where the Hungarian Hussars are located, then I can find no "db" directory there. So how is this done exactly?

    You need to download LtChamber's ModManager first. After you download it, extract to the data folder and start the ModManager, you should see Joedreck's mod on the list, then check to activate it. Also, make sure you download the right files from either ToonTotalWar's attachment or from my frontpage.

    You must unpack the db/unit_to_groupings_millitary_permissions_tables/unit_to_groupings_millitary_permissions in main.pack and add it to your mod pack and change than this file as discibed.

    Hey guys, I noticed the poll on whether named-patch.packs or named-mod.packs are better.

    I did a little test and came up with some interesting results.

    mod.packs can't be used online, but patch.packs CAN if its just a retexture.

    With this in mind, if someone is doing a purely retexture mod they should use the patch.pack method. I've outlined my findings here. I know personally I'll be converting some of these to patch.packs for my own personal use so that i can play online

    boach bali i already have the mod manager and i have joedrecks mod on the manager and it is checked but still i have the vanilla skins im getting really upset =(
