Naval Logistics Realism (NLR)
Hi all,
While I'm not skilled in modding, personally. I'm a retired web developer so coding and programming logic is still my background though. Anyway, I'm still full of ideas. And here's one of them:
Naval Logistics Realism
In general
Basically, what I want it to do is add more depths to the whole naval area. I'd like to add ammo count and food count so that you would have to return to a port every now and then to replenish supplies.
Ammunition
While perhaps not historically accuracy for all ships in the fleet could be obtainable I'd like to find some middle ground that's fun both for gameplay and for realism.
Food
Again, we'd have to try and find some middle ground that's fun for both gameplay and realism.
Conclusion
Is there an interest in this and are there people around who has the modding skill required to help me see this through? Please let me know what you think, and even if you have further ideas on how to add to this mod.

Very nice ideas I thinks!!
Would be very nice to see a mod like this!
Would be cool if some ships could act as supply ships that can resupply a fleet with ammo and food and perhaps also limited repairs. Perhaps the trade ships (Fluyt, Galleon, indiamen..) being the ones that can do this..

Or simply add a new ship with supplies, although I'm not sure how accurate that would be in history considering you never really knew where ships would be at in the big wide ocean...
