They're post-Revolution uniforms, so white would be incorrect for the most part.

Everyone: I will upload them tonight, if only because I need to work on them at home :p. About the revolution: I was pretty ignorant of this when I started, I may do a pre-revolution French army too, just for the sake of completeness :o

I want to do all factions eventually, even if other people have done them :p. Just for my own project. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, so keep suggesting factions to do !

I can get the spain mod to work fine, but i can't get it to work with the horse mod iv'e tried different oder in the mod manager but it still doesnt work, i can get the horse mod to work by itself but again when i try to get them both work the game CTD.

Any help would be great thanks.


Edit: nvm finally figured it out, sorta. though i thought FO3 was a pain in the arse to mod, this is deff lookin hella lot worse.

Are you using any other mods? Horse mod and the Spain mod should be perfectly compatible because Horse mod is only changing a couple of textures. Odd that it should CTD.

Have you checked and unchecked things in the Mod Manager? Because there was a bug in it where it tries to comment out unchecked stuff with a # symbol, which ETW doesn't like.

To solve this, make sure you have "Show hidden files and folders" checked in the folder view > tools > folder options > view tab, then navigate to "C:\Documents and Settings\Yourname\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\" and delete the scripts folder.

Lastly download the latest version of Mod Manager from here, and run Empire with the mods you want checked.

--I know that the Spain Retexture may conflict with other mods that alter factions.db, as it currently has a file-level overwrite included in the .pack file. I will fix this when I can.

The one that my mod swaps in is more realistic than the vanilla one.

The Cross of Burgundy Flag was used by Spain 1506-1701 as a naval ensign, and up to 1843 as the land battle flag, and still appears on regimental colours, badges, shoulder patches and company guidons.

'Spain used as a battle Flag the always so forgotten red Brugundy Cross on a white field. This was carried over from the Habsburgs into the Spanish Borbons and was a flag that flew over Spanish troops even into the Napoleonic wars. The current flag being shown carried by Spanish troops was a 1785 creation for the naval fleet by the great King Charles III. It was not a flag anyone would have ever seen with land troops in the scope of this game.'

An edit on the horse mod - you should use horse mod with this france mod, I'll put the files in the appropriate packs later.

You can assign horse textures ccording to faction! Wee!

this mod is vary nice but cat get it to work with darthmod Be cool if you can make it work like just make it as remo did like just put the units by name in the data folder this would be vary cool of ya Iv tryed it with darthmod and got CTD.
