Hi! Could someone tell me what are those marching musics when you start moving troops? Are they some old melodies or what? I heard one of them also in the movie "The patriot". Thanks!

Wow, this Mod is still alive
I mean, it was long time ago and I thought that the links would be dead but no and people still enjoy it.
The point is that I stopped playing ETW. But now is Napoleon out and its all ETW should be, they also have better music and also march music, maybe they tried that Mod out ))
Some people asked me which march music I used, british grenadier march, then US one and there were another one but its so long ago, I simply dont remember all the tracks anymore.
This looks interesting, but I'm confused. I've always used Hollowfaith's drum and fife mod but that suggests that its only possible to have one march music option loaded at a time, so how do you manage to produce a march mod with four tunes?
Do they all play in sequence, or are they faction specific?
Sorry, I was long time not here.
Hope you just tried it and found out the things...
Hi, I made a fix or remake of his (I guess) mod
Its here:
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...52#post8768752
DMUC - Fifes and Drums ADDON
I made that small add-on because the fiefs and drums in DMUC Drum and Fife Add-On v1.1 are always the same and I have to hear that same sound over and over again from every of may units at the same time, that made the sound experience terrible for me.
I dont claim this as mod, even when all sounds are made by me, I just decided to share it with you, because of fun I had.
Tune down the volume of your battlefield music and let your troops play for you!
REQUIRES DMUC v6.0 or higher and DMUC Drum and Fife Add-On v1.1
Features:
Fifes and Drums for Prussia, GB, FRA, USA.
Each of the 4 files has up to 4 different sounds which you can hear when you let your troops move or charge (infantry and cavalry). The chances are 25%-50% that your troops will play the sound.
So you can move many troops without hear from all of them the same sound.
Download from:
http://www.filefront.com/17779699/DM...ums-addon.rar/
To install:
Copy&Paste the files from folder
DMUC-fiefs and drums addon
into your empire total war directory
...\Empire Total War\data\DMUC
overwrite the old
DMUC_DFM.FRA
DMUC_DFM.GB
DMUC_DFM.PRU
DMUC_DFM.USA
files
Enjoy!

You said you have used the british granadier song, but it is funny, because my franch line infantry is playing that song...So it is not mostly historical acurrate, but big thanks to you again!
The download speed reduces later after later.. and gone cutting off the download (( do you have an upload on torrent maybe?
I dont understand how to download this at the download site. There are so many different Things to click download on and it wants me to download something else as well. Some help?

Please, links are dead, can someone add new, working links for this great mod?
Have a good life!
So? Anybody? :-)
Hey Koci, browsing around I've seen you are looking for different music mods. I just downloaded yesterday Period Music Mod v.1.3 (or 1.4) the link is still alive, is a Mega download. It is only period music: that is: ranging from 1694 to late 1700 so it is the music that may have been listened to during the time frame of the game. I find that really accurate and rather pleasant, this mod is really well done. Doesn't have any battle music though.
You can find it under Visuals and Audio in the second or third page, or if you cannot download it, I can try to attach it here.
As for battle marches, it doesn't have any, but if you download Atmospheric Battle Sounds v 1.2 (again under Visuals and Audio) you will get that, not exactly as a drum and fife sound like in Darthmod but rather satisfactory, and also very powerful ambiance sounds for your battles.
Thank You very much HGRC!
I will try it soon, but still waiting for New Music Pack, sounds great IMHO :-)
Best Regards!
Koci
Hello there! Don't know if you're still after a music mod, but I'm running this one https://www.twcenter.net/forums/down...o=file&id=2512 which changes the battle music. The vanilla tracks do play sometimes, but you're not listening them on repeat! Really adds to the atmosphere of battles.
For the marching music, I'm using the sound from darthmod here - https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...Sound-from-DME The BSM file there crashes my game every time a mortar round hits the ground so I've discarded that one, but the sounds work perfectly on my set up.
For BSM I'm using this mod now, best one out there I think https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e6B...eULbVwPr8/view
