this shouldnt be in the help center, but i cant move it so o well.

1.right click on your background screen
    2.click settings tab
    3.advance button
    4.click adapter tab

to update your adapters, continue and...

    5.click properties
    6.driver tab
    7.then update driver...

you need a fully updated driver to play.

    Edit- Has this helped?

just quick note, the menu option that you should select after you right-click the desktop is "properties"
then go to "settings" tab on the far right and it should say what graphics adapter you have.
this varies with versions of windows, but I think this applies.

Can someone help me with this, everytime I try to launch the game it says I need a graphics card with pixel shader 1.1 or better.

How do get this pixel shader 1.1?

    thanks,

If you can't work around it somehow, which I imagine you can't, you need to buy a new graphics card. Any modern graphics card has pixel shader 1.1 or better (in fact, probably at least 3.0). Note that in fact, you might be using an integrated graphics card, in which case you might have to get an entirely new motherboard to install a real graphics card.

yep not supporting pixel shader 1.1 means it's an extreamly old card/chip. You're in dire need of an upgrade.
