I had this little idea ^^

What if, i we're to change the Russian Republic flag from the current... to the Soviet Flag?

It would be more historical accurate tbh xD

Not as in "VERY ACCURATE" but would be more realistic, that a Russian Revolution would be the Soviet one, isntead of a Modern Russian Flag thingy, if you know what i mean

No it won't be more realistic. There wasn't such thing called Communism in XVIII century. There wasn't any Marx or Engels to develop the ideology, there wasn't any Lenin to pick up the ideology and use it to overthrow the monarchy. Communism and it's symbols (Hammer and Sicle and red colour) has nothing to do with the game's era. It's too early for them.

And Russian Tricolor is a quite nice since it was the official Russian Flag during XVIII century.

Actually it is quite interesting you even called the thread "October Revolution", a term referring to the Revolution of 1917, which is.. eh... a tad outside the game's timeframe.

Yeah Red Army in 18th century ! Not very historical but if 13 colonies can be separate faction then why not ?
I assume 13 colonies can be played separately now they've unlocked the minor factions.

Progress has been made, i know that the flags have a white background, but the screenshots we're only to test.. i'm going to change format from JPEG to GIF, that should fix it.

After i'v got the menu thing working, i'll start working on detailed flags and then finaly flags fro the units and hopefully find a way to make the Russian Uniform red, instead of green.

Remember, this is only FIRST output, not finaly at any point.. just wanted to give you a eye-teaser on that i'v found a way to change the flags
