Yep they can jump over them.
And I don't think cannons can destroy them. But they can destroy buildings.

Just a quick question. I placed a small fleet, one trade ship and 2 escort ship onto one of the circles on the ivory Coast. The flag of the ship then started to switch back and forth between my country's flag, and a flag with a coin on it? I guess that indicates it is setup right. My 2 questions about this are: :hmmm:
1) How long does it take before it actually starts to generate any income?
2) Will this trade income be listed by itself on the trade tab?
Sorry if it has been asked before and thank you in advance.
My question also has to do with trade. I'ver asked numerous times but no replys. Do i need 1 trade ship on the gold trade things or more? (Sorry i couldent answer you but this saved me from making a new thread.
enemy small-settlements? such as farms, plantations, and towns? wheneve ri move my army into it, i just capture and then it turns out to just more a bigger annoyance because then i have to defend it.
i mainly just wanna go in there, blow it up, and get out. is that possible?
Just walk into it and walk back off. Viola! Destroyed.
you dont realy destroy them. you damage them and put them out of commission (if a building is not at 100% health it will not give you any of its benefits)
You look great today.
I feel pretty stupid for asking this, but I'm on the second episode with the French and Indian War and I've conquered that one french settlement, but there are no more missions to do and I can't go on to any territories. Am I supposed to backstab my Indian ally?
The pleasure about a dream is that it's a fantasy. If it ever came real then it wasn't a dream.
why would you want to do that when the AI gets a cash bonus every time it goes bankrupt? you wont achieve anything by hurting their economy as they don't depend on an economy to pump out more units. just go for the capitols, anything else is a waste of time
Sure, and i berate people who think Fallout 3 is empty with nothing to do for the same thing.
But the point of a strategy simulation is to give you a solid return on your actions and long term strategic planing. If there isn't any, and i just have to pretend. well... isn't that a bit of a failure on the developer's part? I mean i could lay in bed and pretend whatever I want. These games are supposed to be interactive.
Ok I'm a bit confused as I keep seeing conflicting information. So here is a few questions that I would like to see answered.
1.) Anyone find a way to set the difficulty for the USA campaign in RTI especially the last episode that says United States?
2.) Is the USA only playable in RTI where it says United States or can you select USA after selecting Grand Campaign from the main menu after some unlock?
3.) Does the game force you to stop playing at a certain date in either the Grand Campaign or RTI USA mini Campaign? Or can you play untill you actually have world domination no matter how many turns it takes?
1.The difficulty is not able to be chosen, it scales with each chapter.
2. Yes the USA is only able to be played in the RTI without mods.
3. The game forces you to stop after you have taken control of all the necessary regions in the Americas and holding them for a certain time.
Seems many people are under the impression that USA will show up in the Grand Campaign menu with the other factions as an unlock. Thank you for clarifying it.
I'm sadden that I can't go for world domination as the USA.....![]()
A friend told me that I could change my country's government in the game, I've also read about it in reviews. I haven't figured out how to do it though, would appreciate if someone could help me, thanks.
So I am playing as GB, about 50 turns in, control most of America and southern India. I used to be trading with 5 nations. Two cancelled the trade agreement. I could be making so much money, but everyone hate me now! And however many gifts I give them they STILL appear hostile! So annoying. Anyone else finding this? Still have 30K free a turn, but it could be A LOT more!!!
