Austria gets Airgun tech, haven't played with anyone else to know if they get it too, but I doubt it since only Austria has the Windbuesche Jaegers.

i've never seen this before.
So I was wondering how the whole free upkeep works in this game as to past TW games. I haven't found anything on this so I just thought I would write it and ask it on here. Do units get free upkeep? Does having units in "cities" help with the public order?
As for the second part of this, how does the gentlemen work in this? I have been playing with it a little and found that you can steal technology from people which is a very good thing to do and you can also duel other gentlemen and kill them. Do they have any other features besides this? Does visiting another school help at all if there is no technology to steal from them?
I don't have the english game version
so without description can't tell if I have seen it
I've played a couple of battles, still haven't seen my units use it.
In two campaigns, both as the British and not controlling the territories, IE. they are still independant 13 colonies as my protectorate (one campaign on hard, one on normal) they have never even had the slightest WHIFF of creating their own faction - even when I don't touch america and they get attacked by the French.
Very weird, as I was quite looking forward to shattering some Amreican dreams

I actually had a big bug there,on the most north island,i won the battle and when i went back to the campaign map it said i lost!
And before that i already won but they where still on the campaign map!
"The Republic of the Seven United Netherlands, rulers of the sea's."
I have the Special Forces Edition of the game and I was wondering if there is a way to get these 3 units. Depending where you bought the game you may get extra units.
Dahomey Amazons (Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de)
Death's Head Hussars (Game.co.uk)
USS Constitution (Play.com and BestBuy)
Question:
Will the creating local game cache files problem ever be fixed?

A paper for ANZAMEMS 2013
You've got to research it...
It's somewhere on the right of military, i think you need the seconds highest military building.
As soon as you research it, Elite units (Grenadiers, Guards, etc.) will use Platoon-Fire.
Can someone please write a step by step guide to trading goods with other factions via land based trade routes?
I keep getting messages about my capital region not having enough routes, but I have no idea how to increase the number of trading partners I can have at once. I am currently trading all my furs to Poland, but only because they were a trading partner from the start of the game. I have many other nations with regions bordering my regions, yet I am unable to even offer them trade agreements as it says I have 0/0 available routes.
Any help would be appreciated.

You answered your own question..
Yea, that just happened to me. Playing as GB, I had an insatianable thirst to capture France's homeland. While I had besieged Paris, France had taken Boston from the 13 colonies. When I eventually rid the world of the french (and sadly, their wonderful pastries), the US became a nation owning Maine and Boston.
EDIT:: It is 1735 in my game.
So that's what enemy gents are doing when they enter my schools? Trying to steal technologies? And here I was thinking the brits were stupid moving their gent in and out of my college in boston all the time.
Edit: Oh and as for your question about their uses, I assume you already know that they can speed up research by placing them in schools right?
No free upkeep units in empire but yes they do help with public order when stationed in cities.
You can't steal a tech that you already have so no, I tend to bunch all my gents in my schools so the research goes faster.
little off topic but how I'm supposed to enjoy USS Constitution when I don't give a damn about Road to Independence?
