This looks better than Medieval II?!

Who cares? I didnt choose Shogun for its graphical prowess, and neither did I choose Empire for it..

And do you have AFx16? Makes a huge difference.

Put on/take off your glasses whichever improves your sighting tenfold. Look at the details on the models. There's no doubt Empire looks better. Even in this screenshot, zoomed out you'll notice a far more detailed battlemap. But still; /care

Yeah in "Pirates of the Caribbean" you had total control over one ship. Where as in this you are controlling up to 20 ships. If you really think M2TW looks better then empire just zoom in on the units and look at the faces they just look a small 32 bit blur where as in this they are detailed, also the animations in this are far better it was always funny watching your guy kill someone with the power of his mind.

I havn't got the highest spec pc admittedly but MTW2 mod Broken Crescent with Crimson Tide added looks much better on my pc than ETW.

If you think M2 looks better than ETW youre either running on low settings or youre blind. The land battles arent significantly better looking, but they are definately better.
