Removing Tracer Bullets? Help please

Is there any way to get rid of the tracer effect for bullets and cannonballs? It kind of ruins the realism of the battles for me, as real battles didnt have tracer effects. All other games always give you the option of removing them but i can't see where in the menu or settings?

I like this game.

And no, as far as I know you cannot "turn off tracers". However, I suggest you fiddle with the tick boxes in the graphics setting. I managed to remove mine. It could be better labeled but I'm fairly sure it's possible.
