Don't know if it has already been posted, i searched but no result, anyway i would like to suggest some movies for getting into the period of ETW.

1 & 2 masterpiece of Sergei Bondarchuk

NOT very easy to find, especially the two russian movies, but i think they're are worth to watch.

Yes,they are all great films but,i can't find "waterloo" anywhere,the full movie i mean,i watched it years ago & there are peices on YT.Its a great film.

I know masliko, almost impossible to find in DVD.

On ebay there are some "chinese" releases of them...

Master & Commander wasn't bad. More about life on a ship in the 19th century than about the actual combat though--nothing much in the way of tactics or strategy.
