Alt+Tab out

I can't seem to alt-tab out, I tried it on the menu and my computer froze, forcing a restart.

Anyone else had that problem? If its true it will be incredibly annoying.

I usually use ctrl alt delete to get out, and that doesnt work either, it just freezes.

I've done it from the game's main menu and (i think) from the campaign map and it worked fine, but haven't tried it from a battle.

I use maj+tab to go on the Steam in-game interface, then I can go on my desktop with no error or lag.

That might work, this is just a problem I had not had with any game before.

When i first started the game, I could Alt+Tab form the main menue. However I haven't been able to altTab from battles, campaign menue, and now the main menue has also stopeed working.

Does it work better if you go to the Steam inferface first?

Set the game to unbordered windowed mode.

it fills the whole screen but acts like windowed mode, allowing you to tab out without any noticeable side effects

I to have problems alt-tabbing. Menus are fine, but actually in the game I'm unable to do so.

Can I ask why I should need to run in Windowed mode to do this? Isn't being able to alt-tab out of a game kind of, well, rudimentary?
