Well, this is a mod idea about the Succesion War after the death of Charles II of Spain, named "El Embrujado", who died without descendent. The war by the control of Spain is between the Carlist faction (Who want the Duke Charles of Austria-Habsburg for ruler) and Felipists (Who want Philip of Bourbon for king of Spain).

Do you mean the Catalan independence war? Maybe I think a second campaign for play with Catalan courts, they were independent until 11th September of 1716, when the war finishes definitively, but the European war finished in 1714, when Austria surrenders, and is followed by England and Hollands, and the spaniards had to give England Gibraltar and Menorca and the Spanish Flanders, the Two Sicilies, and Milanesado to Austria.

No I meant the current campaign in Empire, there are two campaigns, one with the entire map and one about the American War of Independence.

Ok, I understand, but the American country's independence is not related with the Spanish Succesion War, the only independized country in this war was Catalonia, but when the the Bourbons conquered the capital (Barcelona), they annexed Catalan courts to the rest of Spain again.

Yes, but this mod is meant for this war... and there is a big difference in years between the succession war and the independence of the ancient Spanish american colonies.

You still don't understand, I'm saying that you should make the Spanish Succession War a separate campaign, nothing to do with any Independance Wars, that was just an example.

I meant a mod for only Succession War, there are other projects for mods about American countrie's independence.

The war is for the new throne of Spain, and not for any independence. The only country who became independent was Catalonia from Spain, but was annexed again to the kingdom with the Felipist conquest the 11th September of 1716.

Maybe, but then the mod would lose his essence. The mod is precisely about the war where the spaniards lost many protectorates (Flandes, Milan, The Kingdom of the two Sicilies, Gibraltar...) Aragon is a so important protectorate, but maybe I join the Kingdom of Granada and Andalusia to the Castilian Crown.

Very detailed faction list, I like it And I agree with you Polpolgio on the protectorates, they helped decide the war, and gave foreign powers places to attack from.
