Changinge the "Free Zoom" Key

I dont exactly know how the button is named, but by default it is the middle mouse button in battle mode and it lets you "zoom around the map" while pressed. in m2tw it was possible to change the mapping of this button, but so far i haven't found a way to do this in e:tw. Any help is appreciated.

bumping to see if someone can tell me how to do this. Worked fine in M2TW but i cant find the option to remap the middle mouse button in E:TW

Ok, you don't want to use the free zoom in Empire total war.....

It causes extreme lag, because after you do it, it renders all far away units with full detail, instead of low detail far away. Massive lag will ensue.

If you want to really know.... It's the key N in-game.

Yep the N key and I didn't find it in the manual. It works well for me, only sometimes it can be a perfomance hit. Pressing it again takes you back to the normal view directly. However the game might become unresponsive on slower systems i guess.
