    very nice, but 2 Things:
    1) Why have so much Units a Spear? Warriors have this funny Children Spear and the Royal Guard a Spear too. Why not giving the Warriors Seax (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seax) and the Royal Guard nice Broadswords in Viking Style?
I know the People of Rohan are Herdmen and have no iron-mining, but Seax are cheap, and the Royal Guard could have the money.
    2) hmm, i think these men of rohan are looking like furbearer , a lots of hair in the face...

    Great job.

    Only 3 little things:
    1. I would love to see a sword unit for them. YOu have quite a lot spearunits, why don't you just change one of them to sword?
    2. The hair needs a little rework
    3. That wooden grip of the axe could be slightly smaller

    Fantastic job Dragut, really nice.

So far reading the Comments the biggest suggestion is:

    - The axes of the Axemen are too large, which I agree with. make the shafts a bit shorter, like the ones the warriors have equiped.

and that being it, I think we can assume you did an awesome job +rep

I want to add to this that I find the gray for the helmets could be a bit darker, more worn, damaged etc. I have always imagined Rohan to be these warriors with old stitched up worn, damaged armor.

and the Rohirrim helmets are a bit too long, a bit coneheaded. but this might just be the point of view on the picture.

    Fantastic job nonetheless

Good Job But ive Noticed a few things that you could imrpove on

    1. Too Many Axes on most of the Infantry and the Axes seem abit big
    2. Could do with a Sword unit i Remember the Royal Gaurd using Swords
    3. the Shields look the same maby a few More differernt Designs?

All in all i Love Rohan. Just those 3 things Bug me.

I'd go with all that. I don't have such a problem with the "coneheaded" helmets though, as I always thought of them as being quite elongated like that

Those should be two-handed imo in which case the size would be ok. Lose the shields or attach bucklers to their wrists.

Agreed, Rohan lacks a 2h unit right now, best to use those Axemen instead, shortening the axe would make it look better, but it would just be a javelin-less Warrior unit imo.

    I'm for 2h axemen.

Are you sure the screen shots are taken with maximum resolution and graphic settings? I'm asking because the models look a bit pixely, especially from the hair and feet. Also some of their heads and helmets might be a bit oversized and too tall/stretched making them look maybe a little dwarvish. Otherwise I really like them. Especially the colours.

I have already suggested DrAgUt all the major things that were mentioned here and as he also said afew pages ago, he wants to improve things like slightly too big helmets, too long 1h axes, facial textures and maybe make some more texture variants for bodies and shields.
Some more improvemnts will probably follow...

Also I think he didn't use the full graphic settings since he has a pretty bad PC.
I will update the preview later with a few more fully detailed screenshots.

    Anyway, great preview DrAgUt!

I like it the way it is. Smaller axes are easier to swing and can still be effective against armor, plus the shields extra defence. For instance the halberdmen of the teutonic order in teutonic campaign gain no def bonus from shields, so i dont think it works.

    Looks awesome!
But for a faction that aims on cavalry, it has a damn load of infantry...
And those javelins on the Warriors look kinda... well, I would probably laugh to death when they march to me (until they start to throw those tings...)
I think those axemen should be 'merged' into the warriors, and the warriors shouldn't have the javelins. And perhaps the peasants could have swords, instead of spears?
And shouldn't the Royal Guard (I guess they are bodyguards) on horses?

And the textures could have a bit 'harshening'. Bit of rust here and there, hair could be a bit better... Just some minor details, but a nice addition for a patch

EDIT: While typing this, KK said that the detail wasn't on full. So perhaps the textures are fine anyway, but the screenshots just don't show it. And yea, I guess everything I mentioned is already mentioned.

    Really nice!
    Some comments:

One of the horses has gondor armor on their head(some kind of plate mail)
Could you make the horses more armored because that is the advantage rohan had, their heavy cavalry.
And like lennartje said. For a horse faction their is much infantry. I only expected axe warriors and a spear unit.

    Greetings, BlackViper
