    Alright, I have to say now that release is very, very close. Just some graphical stuff (the maps), a bit of balancing and getting the optional folder in place.

    Expect a release at the end of this week or the beginning of the next.

    Good news

    One more question/idea: Is possible to simulate Cathar crusade in some way? For example give very low public order and high paganism to Toulouse

    Actually, yes. I was looking for a way to balance France by rebelling some of its territories early on, but I wanted something historical. You gave me a reason
    I'd rep you, but I already did in the RoP forum.

    =====================
    Announcement
    =====================
    FCRC has been delayed for indefinite time. This is to allow me to create a functioning Teutonic/Baltic Crusader faction. Also, FCRC will come with its own modfolder and will function as a "semi-official" new release submod-ish mod. You won't need the other versions of Chivalry to play it; instead, FCRC will be Chivalry's "High Era" campaign.

    Cant wait for this. Seems like it will be a great "mini/sub"-mod.

    It'll be more than a mini/submod ... own modfolder with tons of changes, the maker Bull is very busy with this ChivTW-FCRC project.

    Well, it'll be great in the sense of large; it'll be a stand-alone Chivalry version, more or less.

    I must say I am very impressed, you surely can't be doing this alone though?

    I'm really happy you're making this mod, as in truth there are only two other Mod's of similar context yet one is discontinued and the other has a ridiculous Crash rate. It baffles me as well, as it's such an expansive, detailed war/campaign.

    Yup, on my own with a few beta testers
    Progress has been going nicely. I've finished the Teutonic Order faction roster and intergrated it into the campaign. It's for the most "hardcore" Total War players: it requires knowledge of the AI and quite a bit of campaign and battle strategy. Limited funds and a huge decline of income at the start make this a very enjoyable campaign.

    Now I'm going into the next phase: a background script. If I could get it in I could simulate huge Mongol Invasions and the 4th Crusade, which would be wonderful.

    Applications for beta tester are still more than welcome, though

    Hey I was a huge fan of Chivalry Total War and this High Era campaign idea looks great! Now that I'm on break from college (which is brutal )... if you need any help, I'd be glad to (check your pm).

    You're not the only one who's got a break from college. With luck, this'll be done before the end of the year, or at least within the first week of 2011!

    Stuff's still going good! There's lots of goodies which I'm not going to put in any preview/sneak peak, so lots of stuff will probably be a big surprise on release

    I'm really looking forward to this! Can we get a rough ballpark figure of when it will be released? I'm planning on doing an AAR, with a combo of this and another mod. Great job on your work in any case!

    If it still exists; ran a few more campaigns with my version (which is different from the current testing version in almost every way; it resembles what a final release would more or less look like) without any CTDs as the Order.

    Yay. And now that we're almost sure it was caused by units/buildings, the release is much closer.
