Announcement - move to Empire

Oh yeah and I have the Teutonic Campaign Map set up and running on my Stainless Steel modding rig.

Possible province allocation:

First thoughts: when it will start then? In 1640s? Also, I don't think that it's a good idea to split Commonwealth into 3 different factions. Not historically accurate nor gameplay-wise. Also, the map isn't accurate, to say at least.

Well I'm going to sit on this while I wait to see what thrashing_mad is thinking/is doing with XVII.

I'd like to have a fuller map with Moscow etc but I do the best with what I got. I proposed the campaign just as a stopgap measure to allow people playing thrashing_mad's custom battle release on the campaign map.

I'm personally hoping for a release of VIIth Century: Total War on Kingdoms, or at least the work that has already done, and, if possible, a modest campaign map. Due to my lack of funds, it is unlikely that I'll be able to buy Empire anytime soon, so I was hoping to play this mod to past the long, cold, lonely nights without the latest Total War game. I've followed this mod from it's humble beginnings, and am willing to follow it onto Empire, but a release of all work completed so far would help pass the time, since I'm sure the Empire mod will be quite into the future. Just my thoughts...

Too bad this never amounted to anything, I think the 17th century is my favorite time period but you can't play any games or mods about it. Que triste.

To hell with Empire Total War and beyond, they are nothing compared in gameplay like MTWII, RTW and MTW1.
