You probably noticed quite quickly that two individuals had very, shall we say, opposite opinions. This also can lead researchers to scratch their heads and say...'O... K....what is the truth here and should I use this?' :hmmm:
During the Cimbri work-up I posted four to five descriptions of the same unit for tone, that all varied somewhat from different authors. What do you do? Take the most accepted description and run with it.
This however was, as you pointed out, a very confusing scenario, which I hope has been clarified. At least until the next historian or author prints 'their' scenario.
I liken it to the pronunciation of CIM-BRI
