The problem with doing that is that then everyone will be forced to buy RTW Alexander. I'm quite sure that the developers did not want to force people to do this. Even if you can pick it up cheaply now-a-days.
RSII does play well with RTW Alex - I've been using that exe for most of my beta testing and used it before for RS1.5 (I've not played RS1.6 as I was an 'active' beta tester and screen shot donkey that longt ago).
See post #214 in this thread - there you will see a group of them.
For those that can't be bothered scrolling back (it's Tone's screen shot).....

Another thing ive been wondering about is weather there was some sort of placeholder for the falx. I mean come on, u couldnt just walk around with it around a belt, you were bound to get injuries from it. Surely there was some form of elastic sock that would be strong enough not to get cut by the falx when you shove it in?
Dacians had scabbards for sica, the tip of the scabbard was made from iron...
hmm okay, because i had a hard time imagening how the hell that curved top of the falx would fit into some sort of scabbard... I still do though, even if only partially. I say this because the sica on the picture looks more like a ''>'' than '')'' if you know what i mean, so the easy solution would be a soc on the other half of the scabbard. But the falx looks more like ''J'', and it has a lot of sharp space even if you have the half moon top coved with iron. I guess they found a solution but yeah... i just fail to see it i guess.
No it was just a exspansion with just very good AI , and as a RTW fan should have it at home its only 10 E, and cmon its alexander rightThe problem with doing that is that then everyone will be forced to buy RTW Alexander. ........... You wanted something like this instead?

I understood that! no worries! I sent a message to tone and suggested him to make the curvature of that sword a little bit more inwards and starting from the middle, to look more natural!
I did my job! I can do no more! it's his decision now! either way the unit is nice!
", forced Domitian to sue for peace with Dacia and they were left with relative independence provided they pay annual tributes to Rome. " - false
Great work .

There is couple articles regarding dacians swords, saw there is maybe a confusion betwen "sica" (big knife/short sword) and "falx" (large two handed sword). This are just archeological findings, but acording with images carved on some ancient places, there was a medium one handed falx too (thus not discovered archeological) or some of them had attached quite a big wooden handle polearm like style, but not sure how precise are those depictions
First article is about "sica", second about "falx", both have images and dimensions of swords. They are mostly write in romanian, but have at the end a smaller part in english as well

And some images with "sica" (finded in Romania, northern Bulgaria and northern Serbia), there are more in that article
And now with "falxes" (all was find in central Romania, especialy in or close the old dacian capital Sarmisegetuza)
At the bottom are some roman coins representing Dacia, with a female holding a two handed medium sized falx

Fear is the mother of defeat.Tranquility is courage in repose. Courage is confidence in action.
You will also find that the RS team have used models from the EB and RTR teams.
There is a fair amout of co-operation between the RS and RTR teams on a regular basis. The idea of the launcher that is part of RSII came from the RTR team.
There is inter-team co-operation - more thann many people will ever realize.
The various mod teams all have thier own ideas of what will make a mod more enjoyable and realistic to play.
