Chivalry I: Total War

Let there be much rejoicing (eating of minstrels will be frowned upon), as the ChivTW team have just announced the release of ‘Chivalry I: Total War’ v1.0! This total conversion project for ‘Rome: Total War’, started way back in 2004, transforms the game into a wholly unique and immersive medieval experience. Starting in the Year of Our Lord 1072 the mod’s main campaign - called ‘The Rise of the Knighthood’ - lets you choose from 20 factions, ranging from the Byzantines in the east to the English in the west. In addition there is a provincial campaign available, ‘The Crusader Epoche’, which starts in AD 1099, and this 1.0 release also contains a reworked version of the Battle of Hastings historical battle.
