    I have one question regarding Norman familia( late knights). Will they have upgraded version, and will it use famous norman masked helmets(helmet with face guard) ?

    Yes.
    Late knights have also armor upgrade with more "eastern" armor additions as well.
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.

    But there isnt Norman face guard mask in that video. Probably unit is not upgraded. I watched it at least 10 times, even have screnshoots from it

    All "knights" have the "scare infantry" skill.
    Their charges will be devestated , espesialy the higher rank of them.
    The player must have expirient ifnatry to withstand their assault.

    Or just lurk in woods. Send bait and then retreat, shower them with javelins and finish them with spear between trees where they can not fight properly. Cheap slavonic tactics.

    All advices are correct.
    Players will find usefull the Battle of Sirmion as their guide.
    There, The Roman Emperor used his heavy Serbian spearmen to absorve the 1st wave of Hungarian and Austrian knights.
    While those knights gave ground to regroup, romans moved their infantry formation forward and engaged knights again with spearmen and Varangians...
    The finall blow came from "cataphract style" Archontopulla that used maces because as the scholar mentioned , swords had little impact on the thick chain mails of knights!
    As infantry move we meet again in the scotish wars where schiltrons moved forward and gave english knights NO room to manuevre!

    Even in such hopeless situtaion knights were very dangerous - during battle of Stirling small group of english knights cut they way through schiltrom blocking the bridge...
    Probably with no space left for maneuvering best what knignits could do is dismount and fight as phalanx - as they did in battle of Bremule, siege of Antioch, battle of Standard, Sempach or numerous battles of 100 Years War.
    Unfortunately It isn't possible in MTW2 engine

    Battle of Sirmion It's an interesting example, because it sheeds lights on byzantine infantry, wich must have been a considerable force even during XII century: reserves were still used, like ancient romans, and it was able to perform some sort of complex drill.

    You are both corect. Unforthunatly M2 engine can not provide all the features thet we could use for accurate units and tactics.
    But in my big disapointment , neither Rome II or Attila provide the engine to do so.

    for anyone interested,
    i ´ve uploaded a gameplayvideo to show you some more of tgc-traitsystem. there´s also a battle with the new vegetation.



    i´ve played as the emirate of chandax and started aggressive against the eastern roman empire. conquered rhodes, naxos and just invaded the pelepones. fleets are essential for chandax, but the roman resources are a constant threat. i need a strong navi to control the agais, otherwise, my ports get blocked, supply cutoff and reconcistainvasions are inavoidable.
