    How are the units coming? I haven't seen to much on the various Islamic dynasties.

    1st we must finally complete Thematic Army units reconstruction to reach the rest of TGC units standards (they were our 1st units back then) and their varietions for the Roman Rebels faction as well.
    Hyretic ,Alkimachos, and Πeτρ Φροποβ and others sent me enough material to make this happen...
    Here is a sneak pic!


    No matter if each unit will have one shield patern only the varietion inside the unit will be huge.
    5 heads, 6 swords, 2 spears, shields with 4 diferent shield bosses, 6 helmets, 3 coifs, 2 chest belt bronches (that wont apear on every soldier though), 3 legs, 4 sword scabbards etc!

    I used original creations from entire TGC fellowship.
    Example:
    Helmets by our former member (4 years ago) Slash-5
    Helmet and scabbard textures and original body reconstruction from Rusichi mod, by Absinthia.
    Chain mail texture by Sumskilz
    Original cloth and faces textures by Leif Erikson
    New cloth color varietions by Alkimachos
    3d belts by LuBu
    Round shield models by Ste-fan (former Stefaneke).
    Round shield textures by:
    Pacco
    Hyretic
    Πετρ Φροποβ
    Morfeasnikos
    Weapon models by Lord Calidor
    Many parts also come from models created by :
    Rusichi
    Matthaeus
    Socal Infidel

    You see inorder to have quality rersults I have to plunder everyones models!

    Nice work Anthonius.Besides a few more unit reconstructions,are there many things left?

    can they realy have such realistic faces in med 2,it looks beter than in rome 2 how is this posible?

    Yes...Great artists like Leif Erikson, Sumskilz , Absinthia and Koultouras gave a real boost in what Rusichi/MARKA team started 4 years ago!
    TGC has two major kind of faces, those like you see above and the combination of such faces with 3d additions like hair and beards!
    Inorder to see ingame faces with 3d additions please watch our Magyar preview as well as others.
    Inorder to see faces without 3d additions but extremely realistic please watch our Tagmatic Army preview!

    to bad i cant play magyar couse it chrashes before i can even recrute those cool units,and i dont know of any mod of this quality relesed.

    they look handsome

    My friend those units are not in Magyar Mod. They are part of TGC mod and believe me you will be able to play with them as you like!
    This right momment our great members _Tartaros_ and Miquel-80 are working on campaign scripts and coddings!
    Remember though..Those Magyars of TGC are still pagan steppe people that are about to migrade to what you know today as Hungary.

    this things can be maxed out for ever
    but there are some more places to look add, for example buildinglines, recruitment, more units a.s.o.
    but one thing that´s really a bigger addition are the editing of cities like in tatw. that´s maybe a smaller issue for a playable version - but for a complete feeling we need support for this part at most.

    Scripts and campaign codding are some of the most crussial features that make a mod unique. Lets supose that we go on public with only our unit packs.
    This wont be a mod in any way...Even if we offer a douzen of custom battle maps, still only nice looking units are not enough and players will get bored.
    Campaign scripts are essential to "show" the exact scenario of what we are tryiing so many years to reach..Also unique codding features like the unique recruitment one adds to the mod's uniquness and essence! In any other case we would only create unit packs. TGC started from units because our fellowship had the manpower to do that with exelent moddelers and skiners. We thought that waiting 1st the campaign scripts and campaign codes would be a loss of time. Thankfully most of the units are ready or almost ready and the work is now on the new members field like _Tartaros_, Miquel-80 and hyretic that add those features that were missing from TGC to considered complete!

    for sure! the mods release should offer a roundup feeling. the more people willing to help - the faster things get roll´n.
    for example, we need to do all the traits and ancilliaries from zero - if someone has experience or is willing to learn implanting traits ?
