    Default Heroes of the Pacific

HOTP is an Aerial Combat game set in the war between America and Japan in WWII.

Here is the plotline: You play as 17 year old Lt. William Crowe, A young pilot who joined to the US Navy with his brother Charlie in order to support his family. He and Charlie used to ride their father's crop duster when they were young (and hence were nicknamed the "Dirt Duster Brothers").

However, Tragedy strikes when His brother is killed in the sinking of the USS Arizona in the Pearl Harbor raid. It is found out later that he was killed by Shun Ogawa, the leader of the Infamous Japanese 13th Squadron, a fairly large group of Japanese aces. Your mission in the game is to kill Shun Ogawa and Avenge your brother's death.

Aside from a deep storyline, the game's graphics are absolutely Phenominal!

    America is ready for action!

That all? Nothing about the game part of the game? You know the bit where you play it?

I remember this game, a fun arcade game. The story is not great but it was a blast to play, got mediocre reviews from most of the review sites but personally I think it is underrated.

you can receive missions which vary:

I enjoy dive bombing very much, but there's no option in swapping planes in the middle of a fire fight. The Musashi mission is pretty darn fun.

Oh yeah, you forgot to mention about magic reloading. This game is arcade, not some realistic flying game.

Done with National Service. NOT patriotic. MORE realist. Just gimme cash.
Dishing out cheap shots since 2006.

it changes to people to people, like me,dawn of war dark crusade has awesome graphics for me,same goes to knights of the old republic II and crysis on super low settings,so...
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.
