Xinhua News Agency
The Xinhua News Agency is the official press agency of the government of the People's Republic of Chang'an (PRC) and the biggest center for collecting information and press conferences in the PRC. Xinhua is an institution of the State Council of Chang'an and reports directly to the Communist Party of Chang'an's Public Information Department.
Xinhua employs more than 164.000 peoples; has 2.107 bureaus over the whole PRC, collecting information on foreign affairs and dispensing information about the PRC itself; As most of the smaller news agencies in the PRC cannot afford to station correspondents abroad, or even on every province, they rely on Xinhua feeds to fill their pages.
Xinhua is a publisher as well as a news agency — it owns more than 230 newspapers and channels distributed over all major planets.
