Soundproblem Retrofit on a (German Version)

Hi,

some factions in my grand campaign are completley without sound. Scotland and Denmark ... . Is there any fix for the retrofit mod available for german M2TW Builds? Kingdoms Patch 1.05 is installed.

Vista is running. M2TW is unpacked.

Searching in the forums has no solution for me!

Hallo,

das liegt daran, dass es in der deutschen Version keinen schottischen und osteuropäischen Akzent gibt. Kopiere aus dem Original-Data Ordner die Datei descr_sounds_accent Datei in den Data-Ordner von dem Retrofit-Ordner. Dann gehe in den Sound_ordner von Retrofit und lösche die Events.dat und events.idx Datei. Sicherheitshalber vorher eine Kopie machen. Beim Neustart legt das Spiel diese Dateien wieder an.

Thank you for reply. This is exactly what i have done, but never effects! The event.xxx data was create in the vista userfolder after starting the Kingdoms.exe with retrofit. Copying the two new createt event files to the M2TW/mods/retrofit folder are also no effects. I have no idea.

In the maingame the sound is correct.

o.k., take a look into the descr_sounds_accents-file. Change the Factions from East-European-Accent to English. Also the Scots to English. And then delete the two sound files. Make sure you have a copy of the descr_sounds_accent-file.

Not the best solution, but it works now with the changes in english.
