    ++UPDATED++ Mon 2nd Feb 2009

    DLV Art*pack for 6.0 .*

    Featuring...
    :: Tokus GUI touches
    :: 42 dazzling new loading screens
    :: 73 refreshed auxillaries*
    :: 216 revamped events*
    :: Save game friendly
    *(for Northern, Southern and Eastern European factions only)

    Download links
    :: http://hosted.filefront.com/TokusMaximus/

    How to install
    :: Unpack the downloaded zip file.
    :: Drop the file [mods] into your [Medieval II Total War] folder on system drive.
    :: When asked if you want to overwrite, say yes to everything. It simply copies over earlier versions of the Tokus graphics inherent in DLVanilla.

    Tokus Notes
    For the european factions, north, south or east. This embodies my own Tokus*Maxified special set - my home version I prune each time I play to get those event pictures just right. Dunno if they'll be to your discerning taste, but I hope you enjoy them.

    Future DLVelopments
    I'm switching to playing the varied Islamic factions next so I'll turn my attention to their event and auxillary pictures as I go.

    BareBonesWars 8.1 for RTW 1.5
    Integration Mod which combines unique strategic challenges due to a 4 Season scripted campaign from 280 BC - 180 AD on several big/small maps and with an ruthless AI on the battlefield.
    Deus lo Vult DLV 6.2 for MTW II Kingdoms
    Norway+Ireland+Flanders+Kiev+Lithuania+Teutonic_Order+Armenia+Crusader+Georgia,1y2t script, army field costs, Ultimate AI 1.6, big map, military career, economic system, age simulation, heraldic system, new factions, garrison script, Crowns + Swords, Trait bugfixer, religion dependent recruiting, ancillary enhancements, darth battle mechanics

    Well seeing how it only affects the art side of DLV I don't see why it wouldn't.

    Yes it is fine to use on all 6.0+ versions. It remains very European-centric as those are the factions I usually play (at this time). I'll be updating this on a constant basis for all your perusal and enjoyment...

    Great work !!! I got no word, sorry-
    Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
    I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

    Thank you Inanhoe, Hotcobbler, Blackleaf, thanks for your feedback. Working on next Euro artpatch, with fresh tweaks. I've begin working on Middle East and an East Euro patcher whose perspective in all the event pictures will change respectively. Each pack will have unique loading screens to reflect the region. Blah, blah, keep up all your DLV addictions...

    Tokus, I'm loving what you've done already mate, can't wait for more

    I really like the initial loading screen image of the knight stepping between stakes. That dude that's about to stab him is about to stab him with a goedendag, makes me wish our flanders faction had a unit using them instead of bills every time I see it... I wonder if we can find someone to model it... would be nice

    Yeah, I picked that out of the bunch so it'd appear as the first one. Heh - it's really juicy. All the events, yes it took me quite a 'month of Sundays' - I've been doing this for ages and hadn't updated for ages. I find good event pics create far more atmosphere when I play. happy to share my home made Tokus edition.

    Goedendag, thank you, I had been so annoyed that I didn't remember the name of that weapon ever since I loaded up the artpack.
