:O! I notice, in your sig, that you're in charge of the AUH soundtrack, Cato! Could some samples be in the aforementioned preview?
Awesome! I look forward to hearing it!
People have to wait for a big mod, Wlesmana's LOTR Total War mod has taken more than 3 years and its excellent but still in development.
wOW
Augustus is receiving a lot of rep
This mod is my most anticipated- I love to play a Asian total war
I can confirm to you guys that the next preview is almost ready
Haha be careful what you type Augustus![]()
Hey you should have the progres thread as a sticky with the first post being by the team leader with all the different parts of the game like each faction and scripts, texts etc as an approximate percentage done along with total guessed percent done, Third age total war mod implemented this very well and it saves alot of questions and allows fans to qucikly and easily check progress.
As I mentioned earlier:
The difference between Third Age and us is they are much nearer completion, so they can afford to give random percentiles in the 90s to sate curiosity. Percentiles really just pave the way for disappointment. High percent and the mod doesn't show up soon then you have long-term disappointment. Low percent and you have immediate short-term disappointment. Just be happily surprised with the previews and releases, I know I will be!I've never been a fan of progress topics, probably because unless you have most every facet of the big picture in place and are just filling in the blanks, it is hard to gauge, and you realize you've created more work for yourself and 20% is really 15% or whatever it is. We will have one, but only after we have an idea of everything that is going into the mod on paper so we can actually reasonably calculate how much of it is done, since we know what it is. We're still in the collaborative stages of development right now, there isn't a super long list that if I had 500 hrs I could just complete, the development is progressing intuitively.
Very good point, yeah you should wait until your much more collaborated and planned on stuff till you release a progress thread, I'm just impatient with anticipation![]()
