    Icon6 Xenophonia for DLV6.0+6.1!!!

    Xenophonia, it's simply astounding how much it adds to the immersion factor.

    It's a mod which makes the different factions speak their native languages.

    Here is their website http://xenophonia.ngst.nu/ check it out!

    Before we get started you need to Install Xenophonia (follow the instructions on the website to the letter!) and make sure your DLV is clean of mods, just reinstall it if it isn't (have you applied mod to DLV? Yes? Then reinstall DLV. Obviously if you haven't got DLV6's installer on your machine and want to risk installing Xenophonia with other mods already installed then go ahead. If it doesn't work download and reinstall DLV...)

    OK so now we're ready to begin

    1. Copy the \data folder from Xenophonia to DLV_ext (overwrite DLV's \data folder).

    2. Copy the contents of this file Attachment 29411 into your DLV_ext\data folder.

    3. Delete the .dat and .idx files in dlv_ext\data\sound.

    4. Launch DLV and quit when you get to the menu. If it crashes on the way don't worry.

    5. Launch DLV again and test in a custom battle to make sure the new voice files and subtitles are working.

    ENJOY

    If after you have Xenophonia working perfectly in DLV and you decide you need to free up some hard-drive space, you can uninstall Xenophonia and you can delete the "voice" folder from your dlv_ext\data\sound folder.

    ***AFAIK this mod is only going to work for english language versions of the game***

    It's such a pleasure, Beiss. Thankyou so much for allowing us to import it like this!

    BTW everyone, Beiss is the one who deserves the praise and +rep for Xenophonia, from what I understand it has taken a great deal of effort for him to be able bring this mod to you.

    For me personally Xenophonia is one of very few "must have" mods for M2TW, it brings a much deeper level of immersion to the game in general. Frankly, I'm now having problems getting anything done since I've got it working, it's just too much fun to listen to the different languages on the battlefield and in the campaign!

    My thanks go to Beiss and his team for making my favorite game so much better!

    you should make a list of DLV´s mods that wont bother xeno installation.. there are not that many

    I take it you both have it working? You better have after all the effort I went to. I didn't do all that messing around trying to get it working only to have you two sat there drumming your fingers umming and arring, suggesting I do more work.

    I think any mod that doesn't add/remove units/factions or change their names, or make any changes to sound or music should be fully compatible with the instructions above.

    Ok seriously, I really doubt that any of the mods except Wolfslayer's warhorn mod will cause probs. If you apply the warhorn mod after this one then it should be fine.

    But a doubt is not a certainty and my install method promises certainty. It also promises that if you have problems you have less to think about when you're fixing them

    But please, Joh and Ivanhoex, I want you to tell me if it works and how awesome it is!

    I'm liking it so far, but I've noticed a problem. I'm not sure if this is part of Xenophonia itself or just part of the DLV implementation, but the Russian units taunt in English using the Mediterranean accent, and some of their units now have no voice clips for selection when the did before (Kazaks, Boyar Sons, probably more).

    Yeah that's right, it explains it all on the website I think.

    @Zeeky, I think the Russian side of things is incomplete unfortunately, really great where it works though
