How to create silk material*

Now I going to show you how to make realistic silk material with Photoshop.

You can get silk material in few simple steps.

1)Create new document (for practice I prefer 256x256 or 512x512)
2)Fill it with any color you choose (except black because you cant see shadows and white because you cant see highlighted areas)

3)Add some highlights and shadows with dodge and burn tool
4)To get silk effect go to Filter/Sketch/Chrome (Use whatever number of detail and smoothness you wish)
5)Its better but you lost color you add before so go to Image/Adjustments/Hue-Saturation and color your picture
6)Play with other tools in Image/Adjustments

If you want to make your silk material more like something harder than silk add some noise
