Really nice work here, its so nice to see this type of mod finished.
As one of the main developers of AOVAF TW, i am so happy to see that some of our hard work wasn't in vain, and that someone managed to adapt all that hard work in to a finished product.
Is the stone wall on the left side of the pic one of the new "ambient battle-map buildings" or have I never noticed this fine product of Anglo-Saxon Numenor Stone Work before...? :hmmm:
The wall is part of the new textures, yes. Thrice forged in the Dwarven kilns of Merthyr Tydfil and hauled by Shire pony all the way into the heart of Saxondom where Hobbit bricklayers get to work...
Rast Losnaeth is a rocky peninsula in the Northern Waste of Middle-Earth...great craftsmen settled there...some of Numenorian descent...but this is ICE-stuff...not of pure Tolkien descent...
Some more pics of the new Vikingr Units which are on PotW and UESW:

EDIT2: Have you thought about installing a thread where you give information about building(-trees) and units with pictures, Aradan?

Are you sure to have "tweaked campaign balance [...] slightly easier wessex"...? I tried several times with Wessex and I had nothing to shout about, because religious unrest parameters appear to be altered...Danes had no problems to capture and hold cities...I doubt that you have tried to win with Wessex in VI2-1.6...
Edit: For me it's usually called "Mittelerde"...
