Log file donīt work and CTD

I have re-installed SS 6.1 with RR, Crimson, Battle/Campaign AI, Permanent forts (although it doesnīt seem to work)... now I get a CTD when, what I think, Jerusalem is captured...

the problem is that I canīt get a log of this... although it clearly says in the config that a log should be created, none exists... I have searched the /Sega folder for ALL files for the log but to no awail....

Because of my suspicion of the crash derives from the Jerusalem Captured movie I disabled the cutscenes but this didnīt do anything either...

please help! how do I fix the logfile AND why does it crash....

sorry for bumping... but not fun to see ones request getting further and further down in replacement for threads that already have their CTDīs fixed...

ok... I hate spamming and I hate whining... but I have tried to change the config many times over now... I have tried all but re-install (last resort due to the looong install time on this computer)...

all I want to know is why the logfile command doesnīt work, and after that maybe MAYBE why the game crashes...

Okay... I am quite dissapointed right now... I have been unable to play for almost five days now... I donīt know why the game crashes because of the faulty Log so I canīt see what makes the game CTD... I only ask for support for the logfile creation and nothing else!

others with more insignificant or, IMO easy bug/problems have gotten a lot of help and support... I usually fix these things myself, but this time itīs beyond me... WHY doesnīt the log get created???

for the love of [insert deity here] can someone PLEASE give me some help!!!!

The log file is called system.log.txt. It can either be in the main M2TW folder or in the M2TW\logs folder.

And if you're running Vista, then it might be getting stored somewhere else as a "compatibility file". Check the Vista FAQ sticky thread at the top of the main SS forum.

Oh and FYI, a lot less people browse this forum than the main SS forum so when you post here you must be a little patient.

And thanx for the FYI, but the thing is that I see many already answered threads get MORE help and thus sending my request down the line... and I also saw that I had over 26 views so I guess it is not that much lesser folks here.... and most important, I usually get loads of help really fast when I have asked for it before so I was starting to wonder if you guys didnīt like me at all....

Well 26 views is nothing when you look at the number of views for even the smallest threads in the main forum.
