    The soldier who carries the flag appears without texture.

    could be because in the custom battles you can play more troops than in the campaign

    I apologies if it was answered already, not even sure whether it is a bug. i cannot retire my old generals. i place them into the capital with FL present and town hall built. next turn i get teh pop up about retiring generals but then when i right click on army tab and then click on a character that needs to be retired nothing happens. manual says there should be a new window pop up with the option but it never happens.
    do i do something wrong? im playing vanilla DLV6.2 (nothing else added) as France and it 1220s.

    here is my save, just in case.

    Irish-Related-Bugs


    * Name of your issue (Don't be creative - be specific!)

    there are a few:
    -The Rebel general at the Tir Chornail Province (i believe it's munster province) has no name.
    -Regular "general bodyguard" units have 1 ummounted horse where the captain should be
    -When u train priest/or merchants, and it is showed in the news pop ups alone u get the Peasant insted of the priest/merchant
    -some unit captains have see-thru helms -i have only seen this on Irish kerns, the rest of the bodies are just fine.
    -(don't know if this a bug) there is a village in yorkshire (i believe that's the name of the province) near the border with wales that is considered a resourse, but, if you send a merchant i generates 0 florins.

    Novgorod unit 'Boyar Sons' /w armour upgrade 1 causes CTD in battle.

    That would be nice. The "empty horse" bug occurs with Novgorod's units as well (e.G. "transparent captain"). You could of course share the wisdom how to check the textures as well, teaching the hungry man how to hunt...

    They are atleast fine in my game after I installed 2.38 T-BB.

    @Bacus

    -Tho I can see that the Irish BG don't got that horseman, and also the 2nd level body guard got shadow soliders. I see what can be done.
    -I don't know what kind of village you speak of, so visualice it.

    Started up a new Lithuanian campaign, and many of their units seem to have reverted to having the "shiny armor" bug. I thought this was resolved a while ago. Any suggestions on how to fix the textures, or do I need to re-install everything again?

    same thing happens in Armenian campaign with either a standard bearer or a soldier next to him (on the left hand side of the unit formation) whoever that is.

    btw, anyone else has a problem with retiring generals?

    Strange Dread appear for no reason after 1st turn
    • Yes, tried with England on several difficulty settings and combos of the initial choices and with/without patch 6.2 (Historical Campaign)
    • 1st year
    • England
    • Chivalry/Dread stats all messed up after first End Turn - example is Nicholas in Nottingham, starts with no Chiv/Dread, but then suddenly has 3 Dread (after just sitting in castle doing nothing...)

    reinstall doesn't work...please advise

    P.S. as Romans, Kaisar Andronikos in Adrianople goes from 0 to 4 Chiv after Turn 1...WTF?

    Slingerblitz, 1st turn you choose what career your family members will have. Move them to a city to become governers and anywhere else to become generals.

    Yes, I know. What does that have to do with Chivalry/Dread?

    Nm. I went into descr_traits and saw.
    The text hover-over makes no mention of the Chivalry/Dread adjustment, just Authority etc. Makes no sense that all Generals are Dreadful anyway. And Governors can be just as villainous.

    Does it not explain why in the traits...? That is how they raise their pupils in school, after school you may do exactly what you wish with them. Read the SGFNP for more deeper info tho.

    I didn't find any better place to post this, so sorry if it's not the place. And sorry if it has already posted, I didn't find it anywhere...

    The name of the english kingdom : "Normand Royaume de Angleterre" is not correct in french. "Royaume Normand d'Angleterre" would be better.
