    Hello to all members in this forum.First excuse my english ,i'm french.
    I play dlv 6.1 on xp sp3 and in the year 1343 when the turn changes i have a ctd when it comes on rebels.
    Impossible to go after ,i've try several times and no way.I play with the teutonic order.

    • Name of your issue (Don't be creative - be specific!)
      CTD at battle map fighting against the mongols
    • Is CTD repeatable? (Try to run the saved game, several times to try to repeat the issue)
      Most times the CTD is repeatable, but sometimes on the third or fourth try it finished without a CTD. If it crashed after the third try I do an automatic battle.
    • Did CTD occur during the a) year turn b) Strategy map activates c) Battle map activates d) can't start the game
      c) Battle map is active
    • What is you operating system
      Vista 32 bit
    • What language version of the game do you have?
      German
    • What year are you playing when CTD occurred?
      Since I am at war against the mongols, about 1320
    • What faction do you play?
      Deutscher Ritterorden (Teutonics)
    • What faction is creating the CTD (if known, leave speculations to your comments)
      Battle against the mongols.
    • Briefly describe the issue and add comments. (Be specific and detailed!):
      Most times I think it could be triggered by the dead of the enemy general. Hint: I play without time limit at battlemap and unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 1 (my PC is very powerful )

    After CTD or battle freeze I always copy this mini mod temporary to the data directory and retry the battle. This mod only averts the battle freeze, CTD occurs also.

    i give it up ,.i have no more motivation ,i install the last 7 days 5 times dlv ,today i install fresh and clean dlv 6.1 and no more ,.after 15 rounds the same Ctd.
    I can load after ctd the last autosave and can play some rounds (15-20) ,before the next ctd come .
    Maybe the problem is the stupid Vista 64 .

    Playing as the Holy Roman Empire i've encountered a few bugs.

    Dirt Road wont Update on Map


    Prague's Region when you update from Dirt Roads to Stone Roads it doesn't update on the Campaign Map.. stuck with Dirt Roads with Stone Road bonuses.
    (Update) Mysteriously the Road has become a Stone Road now on the Map, there was some kind of delay, don't know why?

    Enemy AI wont recruit Priests

    Lack of priests and Cardinals, Current 1228AD into my campaign there is only 2 Cardinals in the College of Cardinals and 11 Free places that aren't being filled and the numbers are reducing probably due to old age.
    Looks like Faction AI refuses to recruit Priests.
    (Update) Started getting more Priests joining the College of Cardinals, might be the Turns factor that's slowing down the numbers in recruitment.

    Can't Retire Old Generals

    Followed the Steps and have a town hall no other in the Settlement except the Faction Leader and the general who is 85 now and I go on the list to choose him in order to trigger the Script and it doesn't work.

    Crusading Army attacks Settlement but Lifts to attack nearby Forts.


    The First Crusade is still going on even after 100 years later, Venice is all that's left of the Crusader Armies and it's attacking Cordoba which is the Popes target; But every time it attacks the Settlement a turn later the General lifts the siege and attacks the 2 Forts next to it then repeats the same action.
    Maybe it's the Spawning AI? I don't know but Crusading armies are not aggressive.

    i've tried to doing battles on citys and casttles i sieged up.and i have bringing back my citys all diplomats ,assassins ,spys who staying on the map(perhaps is too much to load ?).I've do all i can and change the turn...but still the same ctd with a windows "medieval as encountered an error and must stop" .And that happend like i've said ,when it comes on rebels.The ai stay 1 min on rebels and after that ...ctd.I'm so far in the game ,and i don't want to launch a new game now.Can i perhaps check u my savegame on this year ,to see if u find anithing ?Thanks

    • I can see your problem with Crusade army and Priest. Ask Taiji to "Implement priest recruting in the walls." Blackleaf-Wille.
    • Retire General: I think you can find a sollution in the SGfNP. Check my sig. There is a command line to make him go retire.

    Hi i have install the 2 parts for 6.0 and the 6.1 upgrade .i have the same problem when i install only the 2 parts for 6.0,.and no 6.1 upgrade.

    Hi,
    I have an issue with the campaign map graphics. the edges of the menu boxes are invisible. the section that should have the "check box" to dismiss the message is not there. when in the gmaes menu and i hit, quit, the box comes up the text at the top stating "are you sure" is there,but the yes/no is not. also the box under cities that give their basis information are messed up. the name comes up but that is it. the icons are not there but the background colored box that they sit on is.

    Tried your save. I played 4 turns (2 years) without any problem. I tried and work for both 6.0+hotfix 1 and 6.1 (I thought they were not save compatible).

    Anyway, try this, but your problem might be your own installation.

    Yes that is the problem ,.i play ,i got a ctd ,..start game new load last autosave ,.play for next 10years(20 turns) ,.tatata next ctd ,..start the game again new load the last autosave i play again 10 years ,tatata ctd ,..i think its a Vista 64 problem,.
    Sometimes year 1188 (first ctd),when start a new campaign next comes 1198 +/- 1 turn ,..yesterday i start new ,first ctd comes 1192 next ctd 1202 ,.its a 10 year ctd ^^.

    Edit.:ok i must hope some understand what now come from me,.( my english is bad) ,i look in the dlv data ,and see a File named Traiterrors date is 5.3.2009 ,it is new from today i don`t know from where it come is that normal that file ?,..the other what i see is the name_verifier when i start it come this .:
