Default V1-V3 The Faustian Reich Fan thread

post your stragies do you play as a colonial power or move to conquer ibellica? do you get friendly with the pope or you just dont care about him?

for me i conquered most of the north coast of ibellica and then started sending armies to mesocala, the pope is friendly with me just because the only mission he give me is to convert the populace of the settlements.
but when he gives me a crusade i never join.

(all crusades and jihads go to constatium why all the hate to the romans?)

    haha lol

idk the pope dislikes romans for sure
in m2 a crusade was rarely called on the byzantiums, more usually on a city in the holy land!

my strategy is to take the cities of the otterbach anschluss (u know, the rebel cities right under your starting position)

i myself don't bother much with the meso landmass... to crowded there i'd better focus my military and economy in trying to get a large chunk in europe
(atleast, that middle land piece. i presume it's called europe or europa because the mercenary textures sais "blablabla hailing from lands in europa )

the Faustian Reich is a cool faction to play, however the Royaume de bon Chevaliers and the Valiente families are always right behind you, ready to take Castle Barbarossa or any other city u own from you... but that's fun.
E:TW's natives have developed a new "Ballistic Automatic Detection And Seeking System" to utterly annihilate any European that sets foot on their soil... That's BADASS for short!

the AI auto-resolves any battle it does against another AI. the walls and any other land bonus ( like hills, castles etc. ) are not counted for in autoresolve, thus having a fortress or a village doesn't makes any difference for the AI. for you however it does (granted your manually fighting, not auto-resolving)

The one with the Dracule is Transslavia, right?
What's the names of the two others, that with the Romuli/Pirates/Lao Che and the one with the Crusaders? Crusaders = Syrianna?

Crusaders is Syrianna yes, and Dracule is Translavia

You know Im not sure I even named the souuthern continent, I think it should have three names, the Lao Che peninsula should have a name, and the greco part (Troy, athens, sparta) should have a name, and then the middle part

    Any suggestions

They look a bit very modern... More like napoleonic times. Beautifully crafted, though.

Very nice, but yeah they are a bit to modern.

    I would prefer Faustian Guards.

Cheers Remember these will be very much a high end elite. On a par with the greystoke rifles, Im currently making light rifle unit for them,

In order to make a bigger difference between the Valiente and The Faust, I am try to make Faust a little more modern, and The Valiente slightly less,

The Valiente are to get a full Knights of Santiago roster, so there will be Santiago Sargent Spears, Santiago crossbows, and dismounted knights of santiago

    Light Rifles rock!

I would prefer the High End Guards to resemble the Lights more; more Renaissance, less XVIII/XIX century.

But then you wouldnt be able to tell them apart from the musketeer
And they are rifles, which means they have to be more advanced than standard renn'

Im pleased with the look of them,
