except u lose popularity when buildings are destroyed in this game.. which further s things up for u :/

but anyway i pretty much solved the fire problems (spawning like 2 fireman places in one zone so they can reach each other etc etc.. cos they have a habit of somehow catching fire too then u get screwed lol) .. the question i want to ask now is: does anyone else realise that u stop recieving any kind of money after a while? how the hell do i make money (i make a little off trade post and thats it.. ? )

oh and also, when i go into negative cash but make it back up, on the second mission the countdown to bankruptcy doesnt stop.. so it tells me ive been defeated when im in positive figures for money

edit: ok ignore all of the above, ive finally learned how to play this game lol..

I wish I could speed up the game a little bit, like use a speed button or whatever. In single player, that is.

Yes, why not? I liked it. It's a great time-waster, if you ask me.

The city building aspect is definitely cool, it is a nice simulation of a Roman city (little workers walking about and people orating in the forum ect) nice atmosphere and animations. The combat seems dated and hokey to me however.

Truly. I'm d/ling this now and I can't wait to try it out. By the way Firefox reports about an hour until it's finished d/ling, and this is from the beginning.

Argh.. Demo didn't work on my computer, or well it did, but it extracted everything to my Windows partition, which has about 500 MB free, even though I chose to install it into my gaming partition it moved the files to C:/ (Windows) and THEN to D:/ (Gaming) which caused the installation to just stop after about half of it due to "lack of space", stupidest thing ever.

You'll be thinking to yourself, 'Bring back the 90's quick!' To be fair though from the demo it's not that bad a game, perhaps it's not quite a deep as you might like it but as a city builder it's pretty good. The combat however is about as good as Caesar 3 though.

This game looks so damn amazing! Have you seen some of the screenshots? It looks to have quite a few RPG elements. Or strategic elements on top of the tactical elements. I don't quite understand but I hope it's good.

btw, is the Empire TW demo really 15 gigs? I don't have that much free, lol.

I wish they had taken the time to fix the path finding issues that’s my biggest complaint of the game.
