Thread: CTD: could'nt read file

    Default CTD: could'nt read file

    when I want to start IJ the following error is shown:
    Could not read file 'data\descr_strategy_lightning.txt'

    before the messege, i shortly see the IJ loading screen (sitting phylosophers)

    laptop-data:
    1024 RAM
    1,6 ghz
    sis M760GX

    Sounds like a faulty install. Download the file again and re-install. Good luck!

    I have downloaded the file again but the same error is shown again, too.
    maybe there is a way to send me the file or other help?

    Well, I have done the following, i copied the named file from the roman-vanilla directory and now he shows me this error:
    settlement_roman_level_1 could'nt find in database

    Well, I have done the following, i copied the named file from the roman-vanilla directory and now he shows me this error:

    There is probably nothing wrong with the files.
    You don't need to copy anything.
    And using the vanilla files will certainly result in an error.

    It is most likely a install error.
    Make a clean install of RTW + BI + Patch 1.6 in a new folder.
    Then install IJ2 + IJ Patch 2.01a, but let the installer run to the end.
