    Default TURN 2 Payday

Note: If your having trouble figuring out why your military tech expenses are higher than your Military tech should be, trade tech is added to that field.
Note: If your numbers are different on the spreadsheet than what you remember, you probably had it wrong in the first case. Check your post in the purchases thread; if it has been edited by me, thats because it was incorrect.
Note: Some of you had incorrect ship costs; these costs are generated by the same spreadsheet as what you use, if you don't believe me just re-calc it again. Your military thread has been modified if it was incorrect.
Note: If none of the above applies to you, and you have an inconsistency, let me know...
Note: I am aware that there was no interest or upkeep, they are not applied till the first turn that they're actually in service; AKA next turn. This will be the same whenever you go further into debt or build new ships

On sunday I asked people who had already posted their purchases to PM me if changes were made. Thats why yours are incorrect.

It is not a problem to fix it.

err... so am i stuck with that wrong one now then?

because if not, I'm paying for loads of stuff I'm not getting, not to mention I'd need to rebuild my fleet entirely with the different techs on your spreadsheet, meaning you would have to do some recalculating anyway... arrgh!

Just like all the other tech meters it does absolutely nothing but give bragging rights to some people.

Its an accumulation of a country's investment into their infrastructure, education, and social services.

Wouldn't it do something? I don't mean economically and militarily, though. If their government is constantly investing money to improve their lives, and as a result they live better than any other people in the galaxy, they'll probably be less prone to rebelling. Meaning revolts funded by enemy states probably won't be as effective. Building infastructure and making sure people's lives don't suck is generally a pretty good way to make people like you.

Pretty sure that was a given... They're essentially a limitless tech line that anyone can use without conflicting with their roleplaying.

Aetius quit, and I'm not making rebellions (unless there is clear cause for one obviously, like genocide)

I might be able to handle it, if it's alright with you.

Which is exactly why you would be a poor choice to let administer it. You might use it.

Its an accumulation of a country's investment into their infrastructure, education, and social services.
Essentially, its your people's natural quality of life. Even a backwater (technology wise) nation can have a great quality of life if they have an advanced infrastructure, good education, and a social net.

Its meant as an indicator of the differences between an advanced nation (like the US and Israel) and a great country to live in (Switzerland).
