    [outdated since it was based on DLV 5.8]

    Some aspects of this work have been included in DLV v6.0

    Dear DLVers,
    Welcome to an attempt to make Deus lo Vult even more attractive.

    NOTE: This mini-mod does not alter files critical to your game.

    The changes:
    - the first screen of the game [with DLV 5.8 logo]
    - the loading screens,
    - the loading bar,
    - the selection screen [new _m2_border.tga based on the Crusades official mod]
    - the Kingdom of Jerusalem's leader picture [the "Leper King"]

    I also added two missing icons for Kingdom of Jerusalem and Teutons in the faction selection screen.
    [When selecting one of those two factions their elite units had no icons]

    All the above plus:

    - new radar maps for in-game use - very beautiful ones!
    Thanks to Dauntless Commandant for his RadarΜaps

    - new city models (all levels except village)

    - reworked north-european and middle-eastern models
    Thanks to Agart for his excelent mini-mod CITIES & CASTLES STRAT MODELS v.1.0
    (NOTE: This mini-mod changes - among other files - the descr_cultures.txt placed in your DLV_ext\data\ folder.
    I made the conversion using the DLV 5.8 beta 3 file)

    Just unzip the contents of this file [DLV-GiP-v.02.rar] into your DLV_ext folder.
    When asked if you want to overwrite some files, click "YES".
    ENJOY!

    I thought the Splash screen and Loading bar were really awesome though , nice to see someone else helping on 2d art though other than Tokus -

    You can include my new map radar if you want with the pack also if you like ,

    Suggestions:

    > Make new Georgian unit cards as at high resolutions they become extremley blury,

    > Maybe create whole new unit info screens as most of them are outdated?

    Woop I got mentioned!

    And, you've included Agart's strat models! Fantastic! I've used them in my own personal mods - would be nice to provide other people with screenies since they may not know what they look like,

    Why this mini mod isn't add to the next version of DLV? It looks great! There are a real difference between castles and cities?

    Not on the battle map - but on the campaign map there is a huge difference! - It's as if the castles from the battle map are on there

    I will add this mini mod tonight, design of cities etc... are ing awesome!, but without the new loading screens^^ because I'm making a mini mod who adds 50 new Ls in the same style than before (upload tonight), with real pictures of castles, wild and tapisery^^ I hope it will be add in the next version too^^
    We need to start a new campaign to use your mod?

    From what I know it is save compatible - you don't have to start a new campaign to see the changes.

    Should be fully save game compatiable as it only changes textures etc,

    although, since it does change strat map textures you may need to delete the map.rwm file in order to see the new ones, - otherwise your normal campaign won't have them.

    is this compatible with DLV Europa? I didnt know there was a mini-mod that made the cities look like the way they do in DLV 6.0.

    As you can see in the credits, the settlement models are Agart's work.
    You can check his excelent mini-mod here:

    Whenever he updates his models, I will implement them in DLV.
