here’s the first of the re-skinned engines; onager

you may not notice the difference [if you are blind lols] but the old ones were low detail and looked a bit bleached [pale] on the battlefield.

yes i like using the dogs in battle. it's fun to watch them chase the routing enemies and bite them

they jump high

the cavalry you see is from a battle between Gauls and Germans (do not forget the nudity patch

i prefer my map colours though, greeks are way too colourful for me [they always were eh!

the main thing with the siege engines is that the vanilla ones are low contrast and don’t stand out much, they kinda pale into the backround. so i can just strengthen the lines and colours if nothing else, although i expect i will completely reskin them.

i keep wondering if i should reskin the britons, but i must stop somewhere, they have lots of new units from the previous incarnations of this mod, so they will do.

to everyone...

small problem, what colour do i do athenians? at the moment they are light blue and white, which most people use, i have seen images of them being white and red ~ if i take this option i can easily make all the new units. if i make them blue then the shields will look like this...

or a red shield

i can make the shields white or gold also, both of these would go with any colour scheme. white is very very difficult to re-colour them as, most colour tools change the colour or remove it in which case i get grey. so to make them white i must make a new template shield and copy the detail pixel by pixel almost, although i think it would look good and i enjoy a challenge.

so whats it to be, what colour would you prefer them, whatever you choose they will be mainly white, the colour will just be for touches and shields.
