    Default Blockading Straits?

In certain areas(marked by green arrows), it's possible for armies to cross bodies of water without the help of a navy. Is it true that you can prevent enemy armies from crossing by putting your navy there?

Excellent! That means I have the entire Danish army trapped on a tiny island. I'll just let them sit there while I take all of his cities.
