Tale of the Week 20 - Christmas Vote

I would be very pleased if the more experienced TotW writers posted a small statement to each story,
giving advice or just commenting it !

Okay, this week my first vote goes to Manoflooks for his story Delusions of the Deranged. Although, speaking from a literary standpoint, there are some significant areas in need of improvement, the idea of the Easter Bunny bumping off St. Nicholas is simply irresistible. I still chuckle reading through it.
And of course, my second vote goes to my own poem, The Fright before Christmas, which I love as any father loves his child. A parody of one of my favorite poems, to boot.
And my third vote. . .is not cast. I had decided on Ponti's An Unexpected Visitor until Juvenal came along with Nakles. They're both quite good and I can't decide between them. So, that's the way it goes. Two votes cast. . .

Okay, this week my first vote goes to Manoflooks for his story Delusions of the Deranged. I didn't think the Easter Bunny would be literate anyway.


I voted for Pontifex's The Unexpected Visitor. It was quite funny, with a surprise ending that doesn't quite befit Santa. Perfect.

I had planned to vote for The Fright before Christmas, but then Nakles came. I couldn't really decide, so I didn't vote for either. Nakles was quite an original story, seemed fun and scary.

This week I was most impressed by The Fright Before Christmas.

Of the others, I thought that The Unexpected Visitor seemed to work best.

Oh, and Nakles was quite nice too...
