I really didn't want to laugh at that... but the song was very funny... so laugh I did.

No need to reposition the body, just make sure they're slightly shorter than the average man.
I'm pretty sure that this being in the first post means that they will be smaller: "Please Note: All Orcs will be slightly smaller in the final release.". As for the hunched over bit as Mithrandir mentioned that would require way too much work redoing animations and so in the end it wouldn't be worth it.

Have the animations been redone at all?

I would totally understand if they weren't, but I'm just imagining an orc fighting with the basic M2TW animations and it doesn't fit very well.

How many orcs would you see in an Orc Band unit when compared to Gondor Infantry?

Probably more than average Gondor units I guess. From Tolkien websites and other of his works, there has been mentions that orcs attacked in mass numbers while not being very disciplined nor armored btw

Awesome job, the only sort of weird thing that stands out is the troll posture. They should be a little hunched over rather than standing straight.

As always, excellent work KK. You've really outdone yourself.

Also, those Trolls really had me drooling.

We don't have new animations for orcs, it'd take a lot of work.

It doesn't have to be solved by unit sizes. I think it's equally (or more) probable that it'll be solved by giving the orcs a low cost and upkeep.

New animation was made only for Trolls. It's hard to make any new animation and we have to ask animator of other project for them

What kind of animations would you even do?
I know the orcs should use, well a lidle bit more offensive animations and uruk-hai's too?

And a high availability, I'd imagine. Your basic orc rabble really shouldn't have much a shot of winning any fight if outnumbered. Then again, if Gondor infantry behaves as we saw in the movie (the one thing I didn't like about Jackson's movies - the badass looking Gondor troops fought like fairies) then I could be wrong, haha.

    I agree.

The Black Numenoreans' appearance seems to be slightly influenced by the Immortal unit of the movie '300'. These Numenoreans look more bad ass though ^^

Btw, are these preview topics open to suggestions? Meaning that are the units in the previews considered done and you are not prepared to do big changes to them?

I am really impressed of your work King Kong.

Definitely. In fact, don't take my word for it. Here's what King Kong says in the initial post of this thread:

He's already agreed to make one change (shorten the Orcs a bit). Any suggestions that are good I'm sure will be considered, and if they don't involve too much additional work, who knows.

I'm sure many can't see it under the drool that's on their monitor by the time they get to those.

Very. In my opininion, their recruitment pool should be large replenigh very fast.

They shouldn't have any chance of winning if they numbers on each side are equal either.

Judging by the unit stats in the dev forum, that won't be the case.
