I just recently downloaded rome total war from game stop but, when i entered the installer (which takes a long time to load up) it says it needs to download something before it can actually load, but when it tries it later cancels and says there is no active internet connection but its fine... I need help plz

Give a little more detail, like what exactly does it say you need to instal? We can help you out from there hopefully, but If I where you, I would get it off steam if possible, its more reliable and comes with bettter auto downloads.

Personally, I would avoid steam unless you are going to be downloading everything for the game (patches etc) from steam. I think many people have downloaded a game thorugh steam and encountered problems patching it and applying mods to the install.

If you can order a game disc it should be worth the wait. There are plenty of places that sell the game cheap now-a-days (bit I do appreciate that this isn't the option for everyone).
