Dale wasn't so small. They were the country that stopted the northern tribesmen and from entering the free lands. They also had acces to the dwarven smith thus they would (I presume) have high quality armour.Nice very nice! A lot of units for a small kingdom though, are they all warranted? Just wondering on the accuracy. Other than that they rock! Excellent work.

Memories....
Good work for a new modder, yes, but that's the problem. There's no way to put Krechet's work along with, for example, King Kong's. This mod cannot have such and abysmal quality differences.
Sorry for the critical point of view, but I see many "amazing!" posts and I don't understand why. And I apoogise to Krechet. Surely his abilities will go better, and for now the worst points that I can see are related with the skins and the unrealistic portrait of Dale's warfare, and this can be solved with documentation and practice.
The modelling work is good, but not enough. I think it's unrealistic, repetitive and not original at all. And the texturing work is, I hate to say it but I think it's true, bad. Those skins are perhaps well for a concept work, but they cannot be in the final release.
Again, I repeat: you need to take some historical references. Try to make Dale's units more viking-looking, and put more lamellar armours, look at Osprey illustrations, look at the Rohan style movies, consult "The Art of the Two Towers", a very handy book because it's full of LOTR movies artwork and concepts.
And keep up the good work. This work is good, but it has to be better, and I'm sure it will be.
Have a happy 2009 and take care!

Call for changes hmm.. but i like cavalry helmets, shields and armours with axes or anvil style heraldry, they represent trade with dwarves and that`s very important. And i like bardian archers+nobles+upgraded Beoring armours too. I am associating Beoring Guards with Beorn from Hobbit so i like to see them beardy with big twohanded hammers or axes but that`s probably my wrong association xD

Aww, that leather skirt is way too short. I'm glad Beorn isn't lifting his foot more.
Very good job, my only complaint is that it seems that the dale spearmen/swords men and Noble swordsmen all seem to have the same face and beards, other than that small detail your work is masterful.
The Dale of the Hobbit is not the same as the Dale after-wards.
After the Battle of the Five Armies and Dale and Erebor began trading, I would have no problem imagining some of the Dale-ish units wearing metal-worked armor.
Previous to said battle I agree, they should wear more leathers/lamellars etc, and I also wish those older types of units were better represented, but I'll live without it. Such types of units definately wouldn't be conquering large portions of Middle Earth either, I wager.
People of Dale traded with Erebor already before Smaug's arrival.
nice, I like the interpretation. I wouldn't have known how to portray the Kingdom of Dale, but you have. Nice work
Wonderful, especially Rhovanion units.

Ah, at last! +rep
Dale is a northernly kingdom, so their thick armor and fur like outfit seems to fit the units. Plus it sort of reflects north-eastern European culture.

The men of Dale were related to those of Rohan, weren't they?
