Thread: Is Romesage compatible?

    Default Is Romesage compatible?

Hi, I started a campaign with the Romans on M/M, and obviously found it a bit too easy. This is my first campaign with Roma Surrectum and I was ignorant of the ideal difficulty levels.

So, I used romesage to edit my save file in order to make it H/VH, but the game still seems a bit easy.

So, does anyone know wheather the edit actually had any effect?

    Thanks

From what I understand Rome Sage was created for an earlier version of RTW than 1.5 and a 1.5 version was never released therefore I'd assume it doesn't do anything at best, at worst it will corrupt a save game.

We used to use RomeSage to jump ahead of certain dates in RTW 1.2 based games. I was told by florin80 that RomeSage is not suitable for any later versions of RTW, I've forgotten why but it could cause problems with the game.

I suggest that you restart your campaign at the increased difficulty level.
