Damnable but love-able game! *help with crash*
So, I got M&B for Christmas by my pops and I'm really enjoying it.
Although I'm also hating it.
At completely random times, when I try to quit the ingame menu (be it after a battle, when leaving a city or when recruiting new men) the game just freezes.
Now, this is obvious not a big turn-on, so I'd like to ask for some help from the M&B TWC'ers. Rich booty will be the reward for problem-solving answers

Technically I'm a n00b when dealing with such things, so I wouldn't really know where to find such stats. But I can watch the little men on horses kill other men on horses at pretty high resolutions and without any lag.

you seem to have a good system for it.......did you make sure that your version of M&B is the most current?

I was playing with 1.00 and updated to the newest version this morning.
Problem still stands :/

Try going into options and setting it from Directx 9 to Directx 7.

I changed to DX 7 and the problem seems to have gone away
