    Default Reilly's Rangers

Am I the only one that loved this quest and found it extremely hard?

Just beat it, using the trusty hunting rifle.

Took forever, but I couldn't turn away from killing super-mutants and saving the day. Now I got awesome body armor and a load of radiation.

Well off to steal the Declaration of Independence.

yeah, it's definitely a long and combat oriented quest but the reward is worth it

Yup, I found it rather darn hard, almost to the point of irritation - mostly because Dogmeat kept dying, forcing my slightly OCD compulsion to keep him alive to have me reload. The point where it throws 3 SM Masters was slightly ridiculous.

I did it at level 8...

Low how this does level scaling in a way that you don't notice it.

Yeah, the level scaling in FO3 is much, much better than Oblivions

Level scaling is never good, oblivion's level scaling was just hell, this one si better, but it's never good, randomisation is good, level scaling is not.

The hardest bit for me was the very ending after you go through the building and save them. You need to then go back to their base, go through the capitol building and then get to their base, there are SOOO many Super Mutants and centaurs it's crazy.

That is very true, and you're already low on stims and ammo.

lol, im never low on stims i just eat and drink the food i find.
I find these kinds of quests become easier with a partner, so Charon got me through easily.
And if I remember, ranger armor is the best in the game.

I did this quest around level 10~12 with a companion, so it is really not too hard to me but rather annoying.

And the reward is ok, but since I was wearing power armor at that time it is really not a worth reward anyway.

Yep especially after finding all the ammo on the fallen ranger. It has around 1,000 rounds, well for me at least. As for the reward, how could you not like Eugene.

Didn't think the quest was hard really the most difficult bit was not getting lost in the hotel. I lost my bearings completely once or twice. I did the quest at level 18 I think rather than level 8 so I imagine it was more difficult for others.

    I find them very useful.
Not very good in VATS but if you use them without VATS and against multiple enemies then you will just rip them apart.

The Mini does have vastly more appeal to FPS players than traditional Fallout RPG'ers it would seem.

Download a mod to make the minigun more deadly. It's what I did.
