Thread: Ordering mods properly on Oblivion?

Default Ordering mods properly on Oblivion?

I've got the PC version of Oblivion as well as the 360 version but all attempts to try out mods for the game have just cocked everything up, with bright yellow boxes appearing everywhere saying 'messing mesh' or something similiar to the game just refusing to run. I followed the readme instructions for each mod but obviously they don't accomadate for the hundreds of other mods out there all being thrown into a melting pot with it. I've heard of some kind of utility that puts the mods in the correct order. Does it exist?

Download obmm, wrye bash and FCOM helper (which also helps in non FCOM installations) to make your life a lot easier

The yellow boxes are either because you installed the mods wrong or you haven't invalidated the archive (obmm can help you with that)
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...
